Welcome back!

September 1st, 2011

Summer at Charms was a lot like this hurricane season is shaping up to be: ACTIVE!  From relocations to renovations, to Irene-related complications, we managed it all.  Our Sharon programs have already returned to action, and we expect the students in our Canton and Stoughton programs to be back on Tuesday, September 6, following the long Labor Day weekend.  To those of you still recovering from TS Irene, we wish you the best of luck and health in doing so.

We’re Moving!

June 23rd, 2011

The Charms administrative offices are relocating to 137 Walnut Street in Stoughton on June 29.

Although we are planning for a smooth transition, we do expect our voicemail and internet to be inactive for a brief period during the week of the move.  We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your patience while we get back up and running.  Thank you!

A new look, and new opportunities

June 16th, 2011

Welcome to the newly redesigned Charms Collaborative website!  We are very grateful for the tremendous work of our friends at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts—Kerry Brandin, Susan Darbyshire, Jim Siener, and Justin Wilson—in designing our new look.  We are also appreciative of the talented eye of photographer Ann Marie Blake, whose engaging photos are featured on our site.

As a new feature of our website, I plan to blog (hopefully fairly regularly!) about the day-to-day activities of our programs and Charms-wide.  First up: graduation season, and the wonderful accomplishments of our 2011 graduates.  Our Canton High School program has five graduates this year, and we couldn’t be prouder.  Three will be going on to college, at Mt. Ida, Framingham State and Fitchburg State, and one is pursuing training as an EMT.  We wish them the best as they rise to meet the new challenges and opportunities of their future.
